Stop Child Abuse

"He has come into this land of an hundred cross-roads.
I know not how he chose you from the crowd, came to your door,
and grasped you hand to ask his way.
He will follow you, laughing the talking, and not a doubt in
his heart.
Keep his trust, lead him straight and bless him."

- Rabindranath Tagore

Child abuse is the globally observable truth. It happens when some adult causes serious physical or emotional harm to a child. Approximately three million cases of child abuse and neglect involving almost 5.5 million children are reported each year. Apart from this many cases are unknown to us.

Stop Child Abuse. Published in mass awareness-raising by Master AdviserThere are generally four types of Child Abuses:

Neglect: Caused by failure to give due attention or care
Emotional Abuse: Caused by verbal attack
Sexual Abuse: Caused by any form of sexual conduct (touching, exploitation, intercourse)
Physical Abuse: Caused by intentional use of force.

As an article published in wikipedia, that revels the cases were substantiated as follows: neglect 78.3%, physical abuse 17.6%, sexual abuse 9.2%, and psychological maltreatment 8.1%.

Children are often scared to tell anyone about the abuse. Many cases of abuse are not reported or simply ignored. Many cases are being undetected, often because children are afraid to tell somebody. Abusers are usually men. Who are mentally ill. Surprisingly most of the time, Children know their abusers and the abuse occurs in and around their residence. The most serious cases of child abuse can end in death. Unfortunately, those, who survive may suffer emotional scars that can linger long and they are more likely to have problems building and maintaining relationships throughout their lives.

Now, the question is how to stop child abuse. Most of the countries has strict law against this. But, no law can put a stop to child abuse unless we go real civilized and rational. Children abuses can be prevented through education and mass awareness. As soon as a child discloses abuse to you, contact your local police or your local child welfare agency. Even if a child has not disclosed abuse to you but you have reasonable grounds to suspect abuse is taking place, report it immediately. Delaying to report could place a child at further risk.

It is our heartiest request to your goodself to report and protest all kind of information or senses of child abuse activities you came across.

Let the world unite against this Mal practice. Keep Children safe and let them be happy always without scare.
